• Josh Nesbit ('08 Scholar, Stanford) has joined the Emerson Collective as Entrepreneur in Residence. Created by Laurene Powell Jobs, the Emerson Collective uses impact investing, philanthropy and advocacy in pursuit of a more equal and just America.

• Members of a new Strauss Alumni Board include Anika Kumar ('19 Scholar, UCB), Nathan Mallipeddi ('18 Scholar, UCLA), Angela Shields ('15 Scholar UCSB), and Tim Galarneau ('04 Scholar, UCSC).

• Nathan Mallipeddi ('18 Scholar, UCLA) was a 2021 $40,000 Westly prize winner for his organization Stuttering Scholarship Alliance.
